Tally Control is an independent application for remotely controlling a video
switcher over the OSC protocol on a local network. It is not affiliated with,
endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any hardware manufacturer.
All product names mentioned in the store listing belong to their respective
owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

——————————————————————————–
1. SUMMARY
——————————————————————————–

Tally Control does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or
sensitive user data.

There is no user account and no registration. There is no analytics software, no
advertising software, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not operate
any server that the application communicates with.

This policy explains exactly what the application stores on your device, what it
sends over your own local network, and the limited circumstances in which you can
choose to send information to us.

——————————————————————————–
2. DATA WE COLLECT
——————————————————————————–

None.

The following categories, as defined by Google Play’s Data safety section, are
NOT collected, NOT transmitted, and NOT shared by this application:

– Personal information (name, email address, user IDs, address, phone number,
race, ethnicity, political or religious beliefs, sexual orientation)
– Financial information (payment details, purchase history, credit score)
– Health and fitness data
– Messages (emails, SMS, in-app messages)
– Photos and videos
– Audio (voice recordings, music files, other audio)
– Files and documents
– Calendar events
– Contacts
– App activity (interactions, search history, installed apps, other actions)
– Web browsing history
– App information and performance (crash logs, diagnostics, other performance
data) — see section 5, which explains that this stays on your device
– Device or other identifiers (advertising ID, device ID, IMEI, MAC address)
– Location (approximate or precise)

The application requests no runtime permission that would give it access to any
of the above.

——————————————————————————–
3. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
——————————————————————————–

The application saves the following in Android’s private application storage,
which is accessible only to the application itself:

– Device profiles: a name you choose for a switcher, its IP address on your
local network, its OSC port, and the local port the application listens on.
– Display preferences: number of tiles, transition effect, keep-screen-on.
– Alert settings: whether alert mode is enabled and which screen it watches.
– A flag recording whether the paid version has been unlocked.
– A rolling technical event log (see section 5).

This information never leaves your device. We have no access to it at any time.
It is deleted when you uninstall the application or clear its storage from
Android settings.

——————————————————————————–
4. LOCAL NETWORK COMMUNICATION
——————————————————————————–

The application exchanges OSC messages over UDP with the switcher whose address
you entered. This traffic stays within your own local network and does not pass
through any server operated by us or by any third party.

The application determines your phone’s local IPv4 address so that the switcher
knows where to send its status replies. That address is used only inside your
network and is never transmitted anywhere else.

The INTERNET permission is required by Android in order to open any network
socket, including purely local ones. Its presence does not mean the application
sends data to the internet. It does not, because we operate no server.

——————————————————————————–
5. TECHNICAL EVENT LOG
——————————————————————————–

The application maintains a rolling in-memory log of recent technical events:
connection attempts, timeouts, device switches, and error messages. If the
application terminates unexpectedly, this log is written to a file in private
application storage so that it survives the restart, and is read back the next
time the application is opened.

The log contains no personal or sensitive data. It records local IP addresses,
port numbers, scene names read from your switcher, and error text.

This log is never transmitted automatically. It leaves your device only if you
personally attach it to a support message and send that message yourself, as
described in section 6. You can inspect the full log and erase it at any time in
Settings, Diagnostics.

——————————————————————————–
6. CONTACTING SUPPORT
——————————————————————————–

The support screen composes a message and hands it to the email application
already installed on your device. Nothing is transmitted automatically: you see
the complete message and you send it yourself. The application contains no
network endpoint capable of submitting a message on your behalf.

If you choose to send a support message, we receive:

– the description you wrote,
– the email address you entered, so that we can reply to you,
– the technical log described in section 5, but only if you left the attachment
switch enabled.

Legal basis under the GDPR: your consent, given by choosing to send the message
(Article 6(1)(a)), and our legitimate interest in providing product support
(Article 6(1)(f)).

Retention: support correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to resolve
the matter, and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last message, then
permanently deleted.

——————————————————————————–
7. PURCHASES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
——————————————————————————–

The full version is unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase processed through
Google Play Billing. Payment is handled entirely by Google. We never see, receive,
or store your payment card details or billing address.

The application stores only a local flag recording that a valid purchase exists.
If Google Play cannot be reached, the application retains the previously confirmed
unlocked state rather than restricting access.

The application includes the following Google libraries:

– Google Play Billing Library, for processing the in-app purchase.
– Google Play Services (Wearable), for communicating with the optional
companion application on a paired smartwatch.

Data handling by these Google components is governed by Google’s own privacy
policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We share data with no other third party, because we collect none.

——————————————————————————–
8. OPTIONAL SMARTWATCH COMPANION
——————————————————————————–

If you install the companion application on a Wear OS smartwatch, the phone sends
the current on-air state to that watch over the Bluetooth connection between your
own two paired devices, using the Wearable Data Layer.

The transmitted message contains only: connection status, whether your selected
screen is currently on air, and the scene names read from your switcher. It
contains no personal data and does not pass through any external service.

——————————————————————————–
9. PERMISSIONS AND THEIR PURPOSE
——————————————————————————–

INTERNET
Required by Android to open any network socket, including local-only ones.
Used solely to reach the switcher on your own local network.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used by the built-in connection test to report whether the phone is
connected to Wi-Fi or to mobile data, which is the most frequent cause of a
failed setup.

FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC
Used only when you enable background listening, so that the application can
continue tracking the on-air state while the screen is off. Android requires
a persistent notification while this service runs.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Used only to display that persistent notification. Declining this permission
does not prevent the application from working.

The application requests no access to location, contacts, camera, microphone,
storage, or any other category of personal information.

——————————————————————————–
10. DATA SECURITY
——————————————————————————–

All configuration is held in Android’s private application storage, isolated from
other applications by the operating system. No credentials or personal data are
transmitted to us, because none are collected.

Communication with your switcher occurs only on your local network. We recommend
using a private, password-protected network rather than an open public one.

——————————————————————————–
11. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
——————————————————————————–

The application has no user account, so there is no account to delete and no
server-side data associated with you.

To erase everything the application has stored, uninstall it or clear its storage
in Android settings, Apps, Tally Control, Storage, Clear data.

If you have previously sent us a support message and wish that correspondence to
be deleted, write to dev@pogrzebyonline.pl and it will be removed.

——————————————————————————–
12. CHILDREN
——————————————————————————–

Tally Control is a professional tool for live video production. It is not directed
at children, contains no content intended for children, and does not knowingly
collect information from anyone.

——————————————————————————–
13. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE GDPR
——————————————————————————–

Because the application collects no personal data on its own, in most cases we
hold nothing about you. Where you have contacted support, you have the right to
request access to that correspondence, its rectification or erasure, restriction
of its processing, and to object to its processing, as well as the right to data
portability. To exercise any of these rights, write to dev@pogrzebyonline.pl.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In
Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzedu
Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.

——————————————————————————–
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
——————————————————————————–

If this policy changes, the updated text will be published at the same public
address with a new date shown at the top. Changes that materially affect how
information is handled will additionally be described in the application’s release
notes on Google Play.
